The University of Florida College of Nursing is seeking Ph.D.-prepared faculty members with research expertise for full-time, 12-month, tenure-track faculty positions as Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. We are particularly interested in individuals who can contribute to research and teaching in the following areas: palliative care; pain and symptom science; bioinformatics, big data & data science; maternal & infant health; and aging.

This position is located in Gainesville, FL. This is not a remote or online faculty position.
Key Responsibilities
Advance a defined program of research leading to extramural funding. Maintain a focused, extramurally funded program of research. Collaborate with and lead interdisciplinary research teams. Mentor early career faculty, commensurate with rank. Teaching
Mentor undergraduate and graduate students in research. Teach courses in areas of expertise. Service
Provide professional service to college, university and profession commensurate with rank. PhD in Nursing or PhD in related discipline from an accredited institution by date of hire. Eligible for Florida nursing licensure. A program of research and scholarly activity focused on palliative care; pain and symptom science; bioinformatics, big data & data science; maternal & infant health; and aging. A sustained record of research and extramural funding commensurate with rank. A sustained publication record commensurate with rank. Eligible for appointment at assistant, associate or full professor rank upon hire, based on research, teaching, and service commensurate with rank. Preferred Qualifications
Associate/Full Professors: Eligible for tenure based on demonstrated distinguished record of teaching, research, and service. Experience mentoring doctoral students and early career faculty. Demonstrated commitment to student success and excellence in undergraduate and/or graduate education. Evidence of leadership in the profession of nursing.
