Annapolis Junction, MD Responsibilities
Designed and implemented infrastructure solutions, automated tasks, and delivered managed services using Python, Ansible, and Terraform. Ensured RHEL systems remained secure and compliant through regular patching and hardening procedures. Installed, configured, and optimized performance for Kubernetes, Docker, NiFi, and cloud-based metrics collection tools. Streamlined CI/CD workflows by managing GitLab pipelines for automated code build, test, and deployment processes. Administered and maintained commercial cloud platforms, primarily AWS, to support scalable and resilient environments. Fostered effective communication and collaboration across teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and project success. Qualifications
Active TS/SCI CI Polygraph required 9+ years of experience in software or systems engineering/administration or related field with similar scope Bachelor’s degree may be substituted for 4 years of experience; Master’s degree may be substituted for 6 years of experience Strong PaaS experience Experience configuring and managing Linux operating systems Experience investigating and resolving technical issues Active Security+ certification or other 8570 compliant certifications Experience with automated infrastructure provisioning and CI/CD pipelines using Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, and GitLab CI Experience designing and implementing scalable, fault-tolerant solutions using AWS services (EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, CloudFormation) Experience deploying and managing containerized applications in Kubernetes clusters using Helm, Kustomize, and custom manifests Compensation
Total compensation based on experience level - $170,000-$205,000+ Full Benefits: PTO, Sick leave, Holidays, 401K, Medical/Dental/Vision coverage Opportunity to upgrade security clearance (CI Polygraph) Hybrid work arrangement; initial fully remote period (1-4 months)
