The Sensory Scientist will support sensory and consumer research projects for the Snacks Division with guidance from Senior Sensory Design team members. Reporting to the Director for Sensory Design, this role will support sensory projects, drive innovation and renovation for Snacks categories and other businesses as needed. You will plan and provide sensory expertise to technical research programs throughout the stage-gate process and deliver actionable insights to drive business growth. We seek someone who can help shape the future of our iconic brands. What You Will Do

Familiarize yourself with sensory profiles and attributes across Snacks categories. Provide ongoing sensory and consumer insights to support robust evaluations and product development guidance. Support sensory projects (planning, data collection, analysis, product launches, and post-launch activities). Develop project objectives and strategies in response to business needs; execute studies and recommend actions. Co-facilitate internal product tastings across categories and communicate critical sensory insights leveraging the Mind the Gap philosophy. Conduct sensory tests and analyze data using appropriate statistical methods to guide actions and quality initiatives. Investigate quantifiable dimensions of flavor and texture. Coordinate and assist in audits of research vendors. Create actionable designs of experiments (DoEs) with key stakeholders. Perform other duties as needed. Who You Will Work With

The Sensory Scientist will work cross-functionally with Research & Development, Quality Assurance, Regulatory, Legal, Brand, Sales, Consumer Insights, and Operations, promoting Sensory and Consumer/Product Research to influence product differentiation and consumer experience. This role reports to the Director of Sensory. What You Bring To The Table… (Must Haves)

Bachelor's degree 2 years of experience with sensory analysis and market research (vendor or customer side) It Would Be Nice If You Have… (Preferred Skills)

Education in Food Science, Sensory Science, Consumer Science, Market Research, Statistics, Food Technology or related field. Experience with a CPG company. Knowledge of sensory science disciplines, including discrimination, descriptive analysis, and consumer techniques. Experience with sensory tools for testing and data analysis (e.g., SIMS, Compusense, FIZZ, SAS, JMP, Minitab). Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Statistical skills with basic understanding of multivariate analysis; fluency in statistical software is a plus. Strong written and oral communication with effective visual storytelling. Strong organizational and teamwork skills; independently motivated. Good interpersonal skills and awareness of business/technical interrelationships. Working Conditions

HQ Office, Research Kitchen, Pilot Plant, and Manufacturing Plants (Campbell's Soup Company, co-manufacturers, and vendors). Willingness to taste and evaluate a wide range of food products and ingredients. Exposure to heat, coolers, and freezers with personal protective equipment as required. Ability to travel to customers, suppliers, and production facilities (approximately 20% travel). Compensation And Benefits

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between $73,500 and $105,700. Individual base pay depends on location, experience, skills, and education. Total pay may include other compensation. We offer comprehensive health, dental, 401(k), and wellness benefits beginning on day one.
