Role Description This is a full-time role for a Montessori Toddler Lead Teacher. You will lead a Toddler classroom, designing and implementing developmentally appropriate lessons, preparing and maintaining the Montessori environment, and ensuring each child’s safety, well-being, and growth. Daily responsibilities include careful observation and documentation, partnering with families, guiding and coaching classroom assistants, and collaborating with colleagues to sustain a calm, respectful, and joyful classroom culture.
Responsibilities
Lead a Montessori Toddler classroom as a full-time teacher.
Design and implement developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with Montessori principles.
Prepare and maintain a safe, organized Montessori environment.
Observe and document child progress, and communicate with families regularly.
Partner with families to support each child’s growth and development.
Guide and coach classroom assistants; collaborate with colleagues to sustain a calm, respectful, and joyful classroom culture.
Qualifications
Experience with lesson planning and early childhood education.
Strong communication skills with children, colleagues, and families.
Demonstrated proficiency in classroom teaching and mentoring/training assistants.
Genuine passion for early childhood development and the Montessori approach.
Montessori certification (AMI/AMS) or relevant credentials preferred.
Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a supportive team.
