Assistant Professor

position in Mathematics beginning on or about August 28, 2026. The appointment will be at the assistant professor level. The department is seeking candidates whose research interests intersect with those of our faculty; areas include combinatorics, number theory, financial mathematics, probability, and computer science. Baruch College, located in the Gramercy Park/Flatiron district of Manhattan, is one of eleven senior colleges of the City University of New York (CUNY). A Ph.D. in mathematics or a related field is required. Strong undergraduate teaching skills. Demonstrated commitment to research. Compensation and Benefits

Salary range:

$87,978–$105,593 ; commensurate with qualifications and experience. CUNY is implementing salary schedule increases: 3.25% effective 9/1/2025 and 3.5% effective 9/1/2026, in accordance with the PSC-CUNY collective bargaining agreement.
