This role is fully remote and part of Garner Health, a company focused on evaluating doctor performance and reducing healthcare costs through a unique incentive model. About the role We are looking for a Senior Account Manager who will oversee clients in our large market (500-5000 lives) book of business. The role focuses on relationship management, understanding client needs, and day-to-day client management. As the primary point of contact for key client stakeholders and brokers, you will aim to ensure overall client success and retention within this market segment. The Senior Account Manager will collaborate with the Strategic Accounts team and cross-functional areas to advance Garner's mission. This role reports to the Director of Account Management (large market).
What you will do
Ensure Garner delivers an excellent client experience to the assigned book of business
Execute key workflows and monitor client health to support clients
Track client success KPIs, escalate areas of concern, and mitigate risks through action plans
Apply best-practice standards and workflows to improve client satisfaction, engagement, and ROI to drive retention
Manage strong day-to-day broker and client relationships
Communicate regularly with key decision makers and brokers to understand ongoing needs
Collaborate with product, sales, and member services teams to meet engagement goals and ensure client satisfaction with Garner's service
Develop client reports, meeting materials, and workshops as needed
Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
What you will bring to the team
5+ years of experience managing and retaining a high-performing B2B book of business and delivering impactful results year over year in the healthcare and benefits industry
Demonstrated experience helping clients increase engagement and maximize the value of a SaaS solution
Passion for delivering an excellent client experience and high-quality work
Strong communication, ability to articulate a vision or strategy, and inspire adoption and change
Excellent presentation skills
Ability to work in an ambiguous, rapidly evolving, fast-paced startup environment with notable upside
Self-starter who takes ownership and drives execution of key initiatives to serve the client and the business
Proven ability to build strong relationships with clients and brokers in the health and welfare space
A desire to be part of our mission to improve the healthcare system
Compensation Transparency The base salary range for this position is $93,000-$120,000. This position is also commission eligible. Individual compensation depends on qualifications, skills, and applicable laws. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible to participate in our equity incentive and benefits plans, including flexible PTO, Medical/Dental/Vision, 401(k), Teladoc Health, and more.
