We are seeking a hard-working, results-oriented Associate Sales Relationship Manager that is a strong relationship builder with an analytical mindset, to join our Municipal Bonds team. Our partners range from the largest institutional investors (including the world’s top 100 asset management firms, mutual funds, pension funds, insurance companies, hedge funds, and others) to the top global dealers (a broad global network of 150+ firms including Barclays, Citigroup Capital Markets, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan and many others). The incumbent will serve as an effective partner to senior management in support of MarketAxess’ clients. How You’ll Help Take Us There

Demonstrate knowledge of the market and MarketAxess product suite Support MarketAxess senior sales leaders in covering Tier 1 customers; develop relationships and take ownership of reporting, training, and day-to-day requests Month end and internal reporting for presentation to senior management Pull and present client and dealer statistics Create monthly product presentations for client consideration Maintain customer relationships and become a subject matter expert on new sales initiatives to help grow customer engagement Sell MarketAxess trading capabilities to current and potential customers focusing on relevant suite of products (e.g., investment grade, emerging markets, high yield, leveraged loans, index product, munis, Eurobonds or rates) Actively build a new business pipeline within the relevant product or region, call on customers and develop relationships at multiple levels across the customer organization Responsible for customer onboarding, relationship management, end-user training, and the build out of new initiatives and customer messaging Leverage customer and industry intel to effectively communicate product requirements to Product Specialists/Developers for system enhancements, functionality and usability Assist in training junior members of the team Meet the minimum of customer meetings during and after business hours and be able to entertain customers at various venues What We’re Looking For

2+ years of experience in financial services; sales or operations experience from a broker/dealer, or relevant experience working for a fixed income electronic trading venue Series 7 required Series 63 required Knowledge of the fixed income markets, preferably investment grade, high yield, emerging markets, leveraged loans, credit derivatives and fixed income ETFs Knowledge of the MarketAxess platform and product suite Self-starter, results-oriented and tenacious Ability to interact with and provide insight to line-traders Ability to interact with and provide insight to trading management Ability to proactively tackle business problems with creative solutions Interpersonal, communication and influencing skills (e.g., negotiation, consultative skills) Ability to deliver results amidst continuous change in an agile work environment Excellent analytical, quantitative, verbal and written communication skills What You Can Expect From Us

Actual salary varies based on knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Eligible for annual cash incentives, equity, and other benefits.
