Join the loudest store in the mall! We're looking for music and pop culture fanatics to help create the best experience for our customers. As a Hot Topic Sales Associate, you'll be a key part of our success by providing excellent customer service, sharing your fandom knowledge, stocking and replenishing products, and merchandising the store in an appealing way, all while focusing on the in-store experience.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Provide an engaging shopping experience that encourages customers to return, impressing them with your product knowledge and customer service skills. Maintain visual standards by covering the sales floor zone and ensuring assigned areas are well-presented. Operate the register, processing sales transactions and promoting add-on sales through benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup. Assist with planogram updates including store map, wall, fixture, and merchandising mix. Communicate fashion and music trend information to management and HQ partners. Work with Store Management to prevent theft and misuse of spells and wizardry, ensuring store security. Assist in maintaining the stock room organization and keeping the store tidy. Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve store goals. Perform any other activities as assigned by your Store Leader. WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Previous retail experience preferred. A love for music and pop culture is a plus! Strong customer service and sales skills. Minimum age of 16 years to join the team. Excellent collaboration and communication skills. Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products using store equipment, and lift up to 50 pounds. Pay rate: $17.25 - $17.75 per hour. Final salary will depend on education, location, experience, and other factors.
