means you’ll serve clients with diverse tax needs with the support of an expert team, dedicated to providing you with the advanced tax training you’ll need to be successful. Responsibilities may include: Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools — video, phone, chat, or email Prepare complete and accurate tax returns Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services Provide clients with IRS support Mentor and support teammates What you'll bring to the team
Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools Prepare complete and accurate tax returns Experience with tax planning and audit support Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax Experience completing individual returns High school diploma / equivalent or higher Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment Comfort working with virtual tools — video, phone and chat Must complete continuing education requirements and meet all IRS and applicable state requirements Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field CPA or Enrolled Agent certification 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax Experience with virtual tax interviews Experience with tax planning and audit support Sales and/or marketing experience Employment details
