Overview
Title: Account Associate - Commercial Lines. Remote: Eastern Time Zones | Supporting New Jersey office. Book Focus: Construction, Contractors, Habitational, Property, Workers Comp. Active Property & Casualty (P&C) License required. Note: If posted as fully remote or hybrid, individuals within a 50-mile radius of a branch location may be required to work onsite in a hybrid capacity. Remote work policy includes having a dedicated workspace. Remote work is not a substitute for childcare, elder care, or other personal responsibilities during working hours. Assist the account team in completing day-to-day administrative tasks and recurring customer service activities to meet production and quality targets. Ensure no liability from errors or omissions and resolve basic and routine administrative and customer service issues. Direct and support day-to-day activities of Team Support/Receptionist and Account Assistant. Handle policy processing tasks including endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, policy releases, check requests, invoices, finance agreements, summaries, loss runs, MVRs, ID cards, certificates, and binders. Identify and reconcile billing inaccuracies, review policy forms, prepare submissions, online rating, proposals, AOR letters, and support new/renewal workflows. Maintain accurate data in agency systems and monitor task completion and workload status; communicate issues as needed. Provide proactive and responsive service, promote a positive work environment, seek continuous improvement, and stay compliant with company policies. Build relationships with colleagues and leadership and demonstrate integrity and leadership aligned with IOA values. Ideal Candidate Qualifications
2+ years of industry experience, or 5+ years of related customer service experience. Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs. Active P&C license required. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational abilities. Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). High School Diploma or equivalent. What We Offer

The expected pay range for this position is $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year, depending on experience, relevant skills, and geographic location.
