Responsibilities

- Process payroll, collect and distribute time sheets, post hours/salary adjustments, complete input forms in Dayforce, verify transmission to Dayforce, prepare manual checks, calculate payroll expenses by function, maintain payroll reports, manage kettle payroll data, purge terminated employees, prepare salary verifications, maintain health and disability records. accounts payable

- Maintain vendor files, manage paid/unpaid invoice reports, code and forward invoices to DHQ, attach invoices to processed checks, monitor check storage, submit journal entries, post shared expenses to balance sheet accounts. General responsibilities

- Process outgoing mail, manage petty cash, prepare reports for internal and external audits, perform seasonal kettle counting, create Serenic reports, assist with other administrative duties as required. Requirements

Five years of bookkeeping experience in accounts payable/payroll supervision. Knowledge of generally accepted accounting procedures, data entry, and payroll systems. Strong communication with leadership, department heads, and vendors. Meets the Child Protection Clearances required by Delaware’s Beau Biden Law (SBI and FBI checks). Understanding and support for The Salvation Army’s mission. Benefits
