Job Overview As the Leader, Fragrance Counter Manager, you oversee the operation and success of the Macy's fragrance counter. You are responsible for sharing your extensive product knowledge and developing and motivating a team of colleagues to deliver excellent customer service and meet sales goals. You will partner with the Sales and Customer Experience Manager and beauty vendors to execute company and store-based events achieve sales goals.

What You Will Do

Inspire teamwork to reach sales goals and elevate the customer experience

Demonstrate knowledge of products and services to build rapport and loyalty

Understand how to drive sales through brand training, events and strategies

Use our clientele program to build relationships with customers, meet sales goals, and share promotions and product launches

Build brand loyalty through engaging customers in our rewards program

Communicates with vendors and store leadership to execute company and store-based events to achieve sales goals

Analyze business performance and create strategies to exceed daily, weekly, monthly, seasonal and annual goals

Recruit, train, coach, motivate and develop colleagues on policies and goals

Lead product demonstrations and peer-to-peer training

Use point of sale technology and applications, including handheld technology, to assist in selling and fulfilling of customer orders

Merchandise new receipts, process damages, testers and select merchandise to return to vendors

Oversee presentation, organization, storing and stock replenishment

Adhere to safety and hygiene standards; comply with asset protection control procedures

Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities

Who You Are

1-2 years of direct experience is preferred

Has advanced authority and expertise in a specific brand

Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays

Strong interpersonal skills

Resourceful and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities

High school graduate or equivalent (general education degree or GED)

Essential Physical Requirements You Will Perform

This position requires constant moving, talking, hearing, lifting, standing, and reaching with arms and hands.

Involves standing for at least two consecutive hours, lifting at least 30lbs., stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders

Reaching, including above eye level

Requires close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment

Frequent use of computers and other technology, necessary to perform job functions, including handheld equipment, cash register and ability to process register transactions
