As an
Account Executive – oCFO , you will lead business development efforts by selling to prospective key accounts. Your proven success in selling cloud-based Office of the CFO applications and products to net new enterprise clients makes you an excellent fit for this role.
Drive complex sales cycles, operate effectively within a team selling environment, and demonstrate strong project management skills. If you have a stellar track record of winning strategic deals, are a self-starter, and thrive in a dynamic environment, Workday is the right place for you.
Initiate and manage sales cycles, maximizing the Workday oCFO product suite—including Accounting, Planning, and Expense Management. You will lead sales processes, negotiations, customer agreements, and closing plans with prospective enterprise clients.
Use your consultative selling expertise to build long-term relationships with executive-level customers, particularly CFOs and finance leaders.
Leverage your deep knowledge of oCFO and ERP solutions to drive demand for cloud financial management, positioning Workday as a leading alternative ERP solution.
Collaborate closely with extended teams, providing guidance and fostering a positive, productive work environment.
About You Basic Qualifications
8+ years of professional experience in software sales, including success in a team selling environment.
5+ years selling SaaS/cloud-based ERP, Office of the CFO (oCFO), or planning solutions to C-level executives within enterprise accounts.
5+ years working directly with finance or finance executives.
Other Qualifications
Deep expertise in financial products and confidence in building business-driven relationships with CFOs and their teams. Experience leading business transformations in medium to large enterprises, ideally across multiple industries.
Proven ability to own and manage complex sales cycles from start to finish, with a strong track record in transformational and consultative selling, strategic negotiation, and closing sophisticated deals.
Strong aptitude for quickly understanding business challenges and designing tailored solutions. A genuine appreciation of the modern Finance function and a passion for co-creating impactful business solutions.
A collaborative team player who shares best practices and contributes to collective success. Embraces a continuous learning mindset.
Excellent organizational and communication skills, capable of driving urgency in closing new business while maintaining accurate, up-to-date customer, pipeline, and forecast data.
Compensation and Benefits The Workday Pay Transparency Statement applies. The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need.
