Our officers are deployed to various Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) rail stations and systems to ensure safety and security. Responsibilities include patrolling stations via train, providing security coverage at transit points, and assisting CTA customers as needed. Responsibilities include:

Conducting foot patrols and maintaining security at rail stations and systems. Completing approved security training and possessing valid PERC. Reporting suspicious activities and assisting CTA patrons. Monitoring access and preventing unauthorized entry. Reporting damages and incidents promptly. Inter-Con Overview

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include: Current guard card license (PERC). Pass a 5-panel drug test, psychological and physical exams, and criminal background check. Must be 21 years or older. Education and experience: High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred. Fluent in English, with high integrity and strong security judgment.
