Overview
CGI is looking for a talented and experienced Front End Developer with expertise in Angular to join our team. As a Front End Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing user interfaces for our web applications using Angular frameworks. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and enhance user experiences, ensuring that our applications are visually appealing, responsive, and user-friendly. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of front-end development principles, excellent coding skills, and a passion for creating innovative and intuitive user interfaces.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Develop user interfaces for web applications using Angular frameworks, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into well-designed and functional user interfaces. Implement responsive designs and ensure that applications are optimized for various devices and screen sizes. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, following best practices and coding standards. Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate front-end components with server-side logic. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure high-quality and error-free code. Continuously optimize and improve the performance and usability of the user interfaces. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in front-end development, particularly Angular, and proactively suggest innovative solutions and improvements. Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure a seamless and visually appealing user experience.
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
Proven experience as a Front End Developer with expertise in Angular. Strong knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles. Experience with Angular frameworks and libraries such as Angular 2+. Proficient understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and front-end build tools (e.g., Webpack). Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and integration of front-end components with server-side logic. Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and ability to collaborate effectively with designers. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with the capability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $69,700.00 - $154,300.00.
