Position Summary The purpose of this position is to teach assigned courses in a variety of times and locations in response to institutional need. Courses may include online courses and/or dual-credit/early college classes.
This is a CONTINUOUS recruitment for an applicant POOL to fill part-time/adjunct assignments on an as-needed basis. Departments or Divisions will refer to the POOL of applications on file to fill temporary assignments as the need arises. You will be contacted by the hiring manager should the department/division be interested in scheduling an interview.
AN APPLICATION IS VALID FOR ONE YEAR, AT WHICH TIME APPLICANTS WISHING TO REMAIN IN THE POOL MUST REAPPLY AND UPDATE THEIR INFORMATION.
Minimum Qualifications Master’s degree with a minimum of (18) graduate hours in the discipline.
Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Ability to utilize a variety of teaching styles and methods to accommodate diverse learning styles of students.
Ability to maintain appropriate professional relationships with students, colleagues and the community.
Preferred Qualifications Experience teaching at the secondary or college level.
Successful experience utilizing instructional technologies, including computers, internet resources and other appropriate media in instruction.
