Century Group Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $50.00 to $57.00 per hour.
Job Responsibilities
Supervise a team of Staff and Senior Accountants to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Oversee the accounts receivable/payable close, month-end close, audit requests, and reconciliations. Prepare mid-month and month-end reports along with various ad-hoc accounting schedules and analyses. Manage the accounting integration and consolidation processes, including systems, policies, and internal controls. Assist with internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to audit inquiries.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in accounting management, and 2+ years of team supervision. Utilize NetSuite for accounting operations and reporting; Salesforce experience is preferred. Apply knowledge of deferred revenue and deferred cost accounting, especially in compliance with ASC 606. Perform month-end close and audit preparation tasks with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness. Showcase strong analytical skills and attention to detail in all financial processes and reconciliations.
Qualifications
Hold a BA/BS degree in Accounting; CPA certification or progress towards it. Exhibit advanced Excel skills, including functions beyond VLOOKUPs and PivotTables. Communicate effectively with strong verbal and written skills in a collaborative team environment. Understand US GAAP accounting and reporting requirements thoroughly. Prefer experience in SaaS, manufacturing, or IoT industries with familiarity in inventory and software development accounting.
