Investment Banking Associate – Power, Utilities & Renewables A top-tier middle-market investment bank is seeking a highly motivated Investment Banking Associate to join its Power, Utilities & Renewables coverage team. This team focuses exclusively on M&A and capital raising within the regulated utilities, renewable energy, unregulated power, and infrastructure sectors. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with senior bankers on high-impact transactions across a rapidly evolving energy landscape. Key Responsibilities

Execute complex M&A and capital markets transactions for clients in the power, utilities, and renewables sectors Lead development of financial models, valuation analyses, due diligence, and transaction materials Manage day-to-day deal execution, including coordination with clients, legal counsel, and internal stakeholders Support senior bankers with industry research, client coverage, and strategic advisory Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g., project finance, capital markets, ESG, and corporate banking) Mentor Analysts and Interns, contributing to team development and culture Required Qualifications

4+ years of relevant experience in investment banking or a related financial services role Deep understanding of the energy and infrastructure space, particularly regulated utilities, renewables, and unregulated power Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Bachelor's degree required Preferred Qualifications

6+ years of experience in investment banking or project finance with a focus on energy or infrastructure MBA or advanced degree in finance, energy, or related field Prior experience advising IPPs, utilities, developers, or infrastructure funds Seniority level
