EHS Manager - Regional Oklahoma and Colorado WFH Flexible • Cadrex Corporate Description OVERVIEW Cadrex is searching for a Regional EHS Manager who is responsible for leading and managing environmental, health, and safety programs across our OK and CO manufacturing sites.
This person must sit onsite at either of these locations.
This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, promotes a culture of safety, and drives continuous improvement initiatives to minimize risks and enhance workplace safety. The Regional EHS Manager partners with site leadership, supervisors, and employees to implement effective EHS policies, training, and performance metrics. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Develop, implement, and oversee EHS policies, programs, and initiatives for regional manufacturing operations Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable federal, state, and local regulations Provide guidance and support to site EHS teams and plant leadership on regulatory requirements, best practices, and corrective actions Conduct site audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards, unsafe behaviors, and environmental risks Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are implemented Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees, supervisors, and managers Monitor and report key EHS performance indicators, identifying trends and driving continuous improvement Partner with Operations and HR to promote employee engagement in safety programs and build a strong safety culture Manage environmental compliance programs including waste management, air/water permits, hazardous materials handling, and sustainability initiatives Support emergency response planning, drills, and crisis management activities across sites Mentor, coach, and develop site-level EHS professionals, ensuring consistent application of standards and practices Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate EHS considerations into production planning, engineering, and capital projects Requirements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 7+ years of progressive EHS experience, including multi-site or regional management in a manufacturing environment In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other relevant regulatory requirements Proven ability to lead and influence at all organizational levels Strong skills in risk assessment, incident investigation, and EHS data analysis Experience with EHS management systems and reporting tools Excellent communication, presentation, and training skills CSP, CIH, CHMM, or other relevant certification preferred EDUCATION Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred LOCATION Hybrid at either our CO or OK location SCHEDULE M-F Ability to travel up to 50% of the time. WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to the risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and occasionally loud.
