We are looking for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments. The ideal candidate will be hard working, punctual, dependable, self-motivated, self-managed, organized, flexible, and looking for a long-term commitment to grow within a growing company. Responsible for compiling, maintaining and reconciling financial records to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information. Responsibilities Prepare and record journal entries. Maintain periodic general ledger reconciliations. Maintain SOPs and desk procedures. Conduct analysis of periodic activity in assigned accounts. Prepare required regulatory reporting and internal reports. Prepare third party PBC (“provided by client”) schedules. Research various accounting issues, as assigned. Ensure compliance with internal controls. Other duties as assigned or necessary. Qualifications Minimum 2 years’ accounting experience. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration. Required Skills Have a strong knowledge of GAAP basis accounting. Advanced understanding of Excel formulas (i.e. V-Lookups, If statements, Pivot Tables); ERP/SAP a plus. Prepare and record a high number of journal entries. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and high accuracy level. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to be self-motivated and work both independently as well as part of a team. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to complete a high volume of work within deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to apply tact and diplomacy. Grocery or food manufacturing experience a plus. Eagerness to grow and learn daily. Excellent organizational and time management skills. ``` Seniority level
