Senior Financial Analyst - Pharma Operations
will report to the Senior Manager, Finance – Pharma Strategy. This role will be a key contributor to teams across finance, operations, and clinical analytics, helping to identify pharmaceutical purchasing opportunities and drive value for OneOncology and our partner practices. As the largest dimension of practice spend, analytical rigor around pharmaceutical purchasing is a critical driver of financial success for oncology practices. This will be a highly-valued role which requires a self-starting attitude, analytical mindset, and strong technical and communication skills. A successful individual in this role will be able to drive tangible value to our company and our partner practices, providing an excellent avenue for recognition and career development. Responsibilities Create models to accurately project drug purchasing and rebate contract performance across the OneOncology portfolio to drive contracting, forecasting, and cash management decisions Develop and monitor KPI dashboards around pharmaceutical spend, utilization, and performance Build ad-hoc models that demonstrate the financial impact of various clinical decisions including use of a new therapy, conversion among similar therapies, and other clinically driven changes Calculate pharmaceutical costs and margin for OneOncology network practices based on cost data, rebate achievement information, and reimbursement data Establish a process to monitor, check, and reconcile cash received from outstanding drug rebates to balance sheet Work with the operations team to optimize supply chain and inventory management processes Communicate findings and insights from financial analysis to SVP of Pharma to optimize purchasing contracts and inform discussions with pharmaceutical partners Qualifications Bachelor's, master's or other advanced degree Ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of work experience Preference for candidates with backgrounds in financial and data analytics within a healthcare insurance company, pharmaceutical manufacturing / distribution company, healthcare provider organization, or healthcare consulting company Highly proficient in Excel Proficient in SQL Familiarity with data visualization tools including PowerBI Experience working with healthcare data strongly preferred, with particular preference for experience in provider billing data, Medicare reimbursement schedules, claims data, and electronic medical record (EMR) data Ability to analyze information from various data sources and automate complex analyses Ability to communicate insights to key stakeholders and gain buy-in across senior leaders to ensure analytics are being appropriately utilized across the company Location in Nashville required
