The University of Missouri-Kansas City, School of Dentistry seeks a faculty member for a tenure-eligible Assistant or Associate Professor or ranked non-tenure-track Assistant or Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. Specific responsibilities of this position include administration of the pre-doctoral orthodontic education program, provision of instruction for pre-doctoral dental students and orthodontic residents in the classroom, laboratory, and clinic. Qualifications

All applicants must have a certificate from a CODA-accredited Advanced Education Residency Program in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics or equivalent, a DDS/DMD or equivalent with eligibility for Missouri Dental Faculty licensure is required. To be considered for a tenure-eligible faculty position, applicants must present: an active research schema and demonstrated success or potential for success in obtaining external funding as a Principal Investigator or Co-Investigator, prior experience or demonstrated ability to teach didactic and clinical courses in an advanced dental education program, and evidence of service to and/or participation in organizations which work to advance dental education and research.
