UNM Los Alamos is hiring Temporary Part-Time faculty to teach online and/or face-to-face Religion (RELG) courses at the 1000 or 2000 level. These positions are open for the Summer 2025 semester and are contingent upon student enrollment levels and course offerings each semester. Applicants considered under this requisition will be considered for future openings. Anticipated courses include: Introduction to World Religions. UNM-Los Alamos, a two-year campus of the University of New Mexico, emphasizes teaching excellence and offers transfer, vocational, and technical courses to the local community. Faculty responsibilities include delivering content, developing assignments, grading, reporting grades, and assessing student learning, overseen by the Program Coordinator. Preference is given to candidates residing in New Mexico. Courses may be online or in person depending on circumstances. Adjunct faculty are compensated at $1,017.60 per credit hour. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Qualifications are based on the Higher Learning Commission's standards and include: Master's Degree in the relevant discipline OR A master's degree or higher in a different discipline with at least 18 graduate credits in the relevant field. Preferred Qualifications

Post-secondary teaching experience Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and student success Online teaching experience Terminal degree (e.g., Ph.D., MFA) Residency in New Mexico Application Instructions
