Role Description
This virtual school psychologist position offers the opportunity to serve students across multiple grade levels while working from the comfort of your Vermont home. The role typically encompasses 36-37.5 hours weekly, supporting approximately 50-60 students through comprehensive psychological services. You'll utilize cutting-edge technology to conduct assessments, provide counseling, and collaborate with educational teams.

Primary Duties and Expectations
Psychological Assessment Services
Execute comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations remotely Utilize digital assessment platforms for cognitive and achievement testing Conduct virtual behavioral observations and interviews Prepare detailed psychological reports for IEP teams
Direct Student Services
Facilitate individual counseling sessions through secure video platforms Lead virtual group counseling for students with similar needs Provide crisis intervention and mental health support Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions
Team Collaboration and Consultation
Participate in virtual multidisciplinary team meetings Consult with educators on behavioral and learning concerns Provide family consultation and support services Offer professional development to school staff
Administrative Responsibilities
Maintain comprehensive electronic records Ensure compliance with IDEA and state regulations Complete required documentation within established timelines Participate in quality assurance activities
Essential Qualifications
Academic and Professional Requirements
Master's degree in School Psychology (required) Current Vermont licensure as a school psychologist Minimum 2 years of experience in educational settings Virtual service delivery experience highly valued

Advanced proficiency with video conferencing software Experience with cloud-based documentation systems Strong digital communication abilities Reliable high-speed internet and professional workspace
