SY2025-26 Middle School 8th Grade Math Special Education Teacher (IMMEDIATE HIRE) at Ingenuity Prep Ingenuity Prep prepares PreK–8th grade students in Ward 8 to succeed in college and beyond as civic leaders. We are seeking a Middle School Special Education Teacher who is deeply committed to students, values academic rigor and civic leadership, and wants to collaborate with colleagues to continue building our program for Ingenuity Prep’s students and families for the 2025–2026 school year. What You’ll Do

Build meaningful relationships with students. Lead instruction for students, from planning to delivering engaging and rigorous lessons. Provide targeted support for students with academic needs in whole-group and small-group instruction. Create a joyful, efficient, learning-focused classroom that promotes exemplary student growth in academics and leadership skills. Collaborate with and support colleagues to build and refine a new middle school program and participate in weekly professional development. Provide emotional constancy and support for students and colleagues. Communicate and work closely with students’ families. Utilize effective instructional routines to ensure smooth transitions and high engagement. Receive regular, individualized coaching from Ingenuity Prep’s instructional leadership team to grow your practice. Who We’re Looking For

You have experience and/or desire to serve as a lead middle school teacher in a low-income school. You are passionate about providing rigorous instruction for students. You want to work closely with peers in a collaborative teaching setting. You thrive in a feedback-rich culture and are eager to grow through coaching and professional development. You have a track record of using academic data to drive instruction for whole groups and small groups. You believe effective instruction is joyful and rigorous. You consistently build strong relationships with students and partner with families for student success. You hold high expectations for yourself and your students. More About Us
