Position:
School Psychologist (Part-Time, 8 hours/week) Summary
The School Psychologist provides direct and indirect services to support students' academic, social-emotional, and behavioral well-being as determined by the IEP, Section 504, or Intervention Assistance Team. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing intervention plans, and collaborating with staff, families, and administrators to promote student success and a positive learning environment. Administer and interpret assessments to evaluate student functioning. Conduct evaluations to inform eligibility and intervention planning. Develop and implement evidence-based interventions. Assist in developing, writing, and implementing IEPs. Provide counseling and consult with families. Participate in IEP and Section 504 meetings. Support systematic interventions and data collection. Conduct risk assessments and collaborate on crisis interventions. Provide staff training on behavior management and mental health. Maintain accurate records and track student progress. Participate in school initiatives and meetings. Qualifications
Must hold a valid school psychologist license or provisional license through the Department of Education in the relevant state. Specific licensure requirements vary by state. Additional Information
