A K-12 school in Kent, WA is seeking a skilled School Psychologist for a contracted position during the current school year (CSY). This role offers an opportunity to apply psychological expertise in an educational setting, supporting the academic and emotional development of students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators, families, and other professionals Provide counseling and intervention services to support student well-being Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives Assist in behavior management strategies and crisis intervention as needed Monitor student progress and update reports as required by school policies Qualifications
Master\'s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist Experience working in K-12 educational environments preferred Strong knowledge of psychological testing and assessment tools Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, and staff Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism Location: Kent, Washington Compensation: $47.24 to $67.24 per hour.
