Job Description The Department seeks a temporary, non-tenure track, part-time lecturer to teach mathematics courses. The appointment is for one semester, with the possibility of renewal for future semesters. This posting is a pool for continuous faculty hires. Review of applications will begin as positions open up and will continue until filled for the semester/academic year.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver courses

Deliver lectures, seminars, and tutorials

Design and deliver assessments, such as exams, laboratory assignments, and reports

Collaborate with other academics and lecturers to improve teaching methods and expand knowledge base

Set and grade assignments, tests, and exams

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications

An earned master's degree in the mathematical sciences from an accredited university; OR a Master’s degree in any area and 18 credit hours of graduate-level coursework in the Mathematical Sciences.

Preferred Qualifications

A record of successful teaching at the secondary or college level.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range as listed above. Final compensation will be based on factors including experience and education.
