Primary Duties:
The main purpose of the Cartier Boutique Technician is to provide technical services for watches and jewelry. These services include: Quick Services: Watches Jewelry (chain adjustments, component replacements, polishing, rhodium at designated locations) Watches: Maintenance and complete services (quartz calibers) Polishing Responsibilities
Key Responsibility 1: Client Care support
Support sales teams with client care cases requiring technical input Assist with complex bracelet adjustments or changes Key Responsibility 2: Diagnosis
Diagnose all products to determine required services and destination (Main Service Facility, Boutique, Vendor) Products include watches, jewelry, clocks, accessories Key Responsibility 3: Watch Services
Quick services: battery replacement, functional checks, rate adjustments Water resistance renewal Component replacement Complete service Polishing Key Responsibility 4: Jewelry Services
Adjust chains (adding/removing links) Services on LOVE bracelets Polishing Rhodium services at specific locations Key Responsibility 5: Maintain Workshop Tools and Equipment
Maintain and calibrate tools, equipment, and organize workbench Apply 5S practices Key Responsibility 6: Maintain Workflow
Ensure services progress efficiently, respect task objectives Service coding for warranties and quality Qualifications
3-5 years experience with luxury watches/products Technical Skills/Abilities
Watchmaking technical operations experience Encasing certification (WOSTEP) or ability to pass technician exam Personal Skills
Client-focused Computer skills: SAP, Zoom/Teams Multitasking ability Teamwork in fast-paced environment Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills Richemont offers a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, 401(k), wellness benefits, and volunteer time off.
