An opportunity exists for skilled professionals specializing in school psychology to provide dedicated support within a K-12 educational setting in Lafayette, TN. This role is essential in fostering the mental health and educational development of students across four schools, ensuring that each child receives the guidance and resources they need to thrive.
Qualifications
Doctoral or Masters degree in School Psychology. Valid state license or certification in school psychology. Experience working with K-12 students, preferred. Strong ability to conduct evaluations and assessments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with school staff and parents.
Location:
Lafayette, TN, serving multiple schools within the area.
Responsibilities
Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students. Develop and implement appropriate intervention plans. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student needs. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning. Provide training and resources to school staff regarding mental health and wellness. Prepare and maintain documentation and reports as required.
