Summary of Job Duties and Responsibilities: The Performance Improvement Analyst facilitates, trains, and coaches individuals in applying performance improvement (PI) philosophies and practices to their daily work. This individual designs, directs, and conducts cross-functional, institutionally strategic healthcare projects that optimize quality and safety, lead in value creation for patients, staff, and population health, enhance patient experience, improve financial performance, improve diversity and inclusion, and develop employees. The analyst works under the supervision of the Chief Quality Officer and in collaboration with other Performance Improvement Analysts, faculty, trainees, operational leaders, and staff. The analyst will interact constantly with UAMS ICE faculty, administration, staff, and trainees. Closing Date:

Minimum Qualifications: Baccalaureate Degree, Industrial Engineering, Nursing, Health Administration, Quality Improvement, or other equivalent education. 4 years of experience in applying continuous improvement methodologies such as PDSA, lean, six sigma, project management, and/or rapid cycle improvement in the work setting. Computer program proficiency level: Advanced Additional Information

Excellent communication skills in oral, written, and presentation/teaching formats Excellent interpersonal skills, including coaching and feedback, as demonstrated by the ability to work effectively with individuals one-on-one and teams across disciplines Ability to transfer knowledge and provide appropriate learning experiences for customers Change management and conflict resolution skills Superb time management and organizational skills Ability to multitask with a high degree of accuracy Expertise in office automation computer software, including word processing, PowerPoint, spreadsheet, flow diagram, and statistical programs Demonstrated ability to work with minimal direction, as appropriate Salary
