Top 200 CPA Firm seeking an Audit Senior to join a well established and growing team. The Tax Senior will play a key role in delivering high-quality tax services to clients, including individuals, businesses, and non-profit organizations. This position offers the opportunity to work with a talented team, engage with clients directly, and contribute to the growth and success of the firm. Responsibilities
Leading and managing audits for a diverse portfolio of clients, including Construction, Real Estate, Manufacturing & Distribution, Private Equity, Non-Profit Organizations and more. Utilizing audit software to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies or areas of concern. Preparing detailed reports on audit findings and presenting these reports to management, suggesting changes to improve efficiencies and reduce costs where possible. Mentoring and guiding junior staff, fostering a supportive and collaborative working environment. Ensuring all financial statements are accurate and comply with regulations and accounting principles. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; Master’s degree or additional coursework preferred CPA license or actively pursuing CPA certification Two or more years of recent public accounting experience, with a focus on audit engagements Strong understanding of financial statements and the ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data Proficiency with audit software (e.g., CCH ProSystem fx, CaseWare, or similar) Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide junior staff Benefits
