Summary: As a Senior Developer Technology Solutions (BTS), this role will design and develop cutting-edge SaaS-based web and mobile applications, leveraging API-first design, React Native, and cloud computing. The Senior Developer will lead and partner with other team members to develop the Fluid Intelligence platform and IoT connectivity platform for sensor-based offerings across Fluid Intelligence and R&D software platforms.

Accountabilities and responsibilities focus on delivering solutions and ongoing operations that enable the flagship product portfolio within Fluid Intelligence and R&D space, with emphasis on user experience, extensibility, testing automation, and continuous deployment. The role requires agile collaboration and adherence to DevOps practices.

Accountabilities Solution Lifecycle

Responsible for the complete lifecycle of application development from inception to retirement per business requirements, architecture, and roadmaps for DIT projects within Fluid Intelligence and R&D space.

Evaluate business requirements and technology to provide appropriate technical solutions following Agile methodologies.

Ensure applications and data are integrated into the broader technology ecosystem to create a cohesive landscape.

Drive performance improvements of applications aligned with organizational vision, operating models, and processes.

Technical Leadership and Solution Design

Lead design, development, and delivery of technology solutions for Fluidtrend, Fluid Intelligence connected products, and R&D platforms.

Own end-to-end technical development, implementation, operation to create scalable, secure, automated, and adaptable solutions.

Shape Fluid Intelligence, Fluidtrend IoT, and lab processes by designing flexible, scalable solutions.

Translate business requirements into architecture balancing speed, flexibility, integrity, and cost.

Create, review, and approve technical specifications and documentation as required.

Act as a technical expert in mobile, web, API development and connected sensor technologies; perform design, code, and config reviews.

Contribute to testing strategy and metrics; assist with testing as needed.

Collaborate with DIT, Security and Compliance, Infrastructure, and CoE to ensure solution alignment with standards and service models.

Establish effective working relationships with vendor partners, service providers, and global operations teams.

Operations & Day to Day

Support ongoing operations for Fluidtrend and Fluid Intelligence Connected platforms built on Cloud, CRM, React Native mobile apps, and Azure data environment; includes issue triage and coordination of resolution.

Plan and execute maintenance, change, and release management with DIT and external partners.

Manage security and compliance for supported applications and drive operational improvements.

Lead release management, user access, and audit compliance for owned production apps.

Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end services, including knowledge bases, user guides, transition, support, and monitoring.

Physical demands: Sedentary work; occasional exertion up to 10 lbs; standing, sitting, reaching are described as required.

Continuous: Communication and vision requirements for written/verbal/electronic information and vision at varying distances.

Education, Experience and Training

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Information Systems. Master’s degree preferred.

Required Skills and Competencies

6+ years of progressive Digital IT and hands-on technology experience.

6+ years in architecture, design, development, test strategy and implementation of Cloud Native Mobile, Web, IoT connected products in Azure or AWS.

8+ years in a senior hands-on role with SaaS platforms and connected devices.

Expert knowledge of application development, integration, testing, DevOps, and cloud deployment.

Strong focus on solving business problems through data, integration, applications, and sustainable architecture.

Full-Stack development experience with Microservices, APIs, JSON, React Native (Next.js, Node.js, Express), and Cordova.

Database design and complex SQL queries for MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.

Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.

IoT, real-time time-series data, and ML/AI-driven product experience.

Event-driven architectures using Queues, MQTT, or AMQP.

Agile/Scrum experience with Jira and Confluence.

CI/CD automation and cloud infrastructure experience (VPC, ALB, containerized architectures).

Experience with SSO, SAML, JWT; IoT connectivity and agent development preferred.

Salesforce CRM, ERP integration, and MDM familiarity is desirable.

Exposure to industrial automation, PLC integration, remote service gateways, and OTA knowledge is a plus.
