What You Get To Do
Employee must ensure quality assurance of software products developed and commissioned by KNAPP (KiSoft One, KiSoft SRC, PLATTFORM, KiSoft Sandbox, etc.). Review specifications, development orders and function sheets. Develop comprehensive test cases and test plans with thorough coverage across integration phases of both project and product lifecycles. Execute test cases and organize, prepare and test software in-house and/or at customer sites. Perform cross-product tests and document results via the test documentation system. Create, maintain and adapt automated tests; roll out automated tests across projects. Enhance and extend test coverage to ensure thorough testing and reliability of product functions. Create test projects and test plans based on standard test cases, project specifications and development orders, ensuring alignment with quality standards. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of test plans, test cases and test results; continuously update and share technical and process notes. Collaborate with software development and software engineering teams. Install, deploy and set up KNAPP logistics software at customer sites. Organize, prepare and test software at KNAPP’s office in Kennesaw, GA and/or at customer sites. Prepare releases for different sprints. What You Have
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. 2 years of direct experience preferred. Knowledge and understanding of logistical workflows and processes. Strong documentation skills for creating test plans, test cases, and knowledge bases. Proficiency in automated testing languages (Python, Java, Bash Script, C++, PL/SQL). Experience with CI/CD tools (preferably Azure DevOps). Knowledge of SDLC methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, and DevOps; proficient understanding of test methodologies; experience tracking test cases. SQL and PL-SQL experience is required. Experience with Linux in a mixed Linux/Windows environment. Knowledge of current software development technologies and design patterns (OOA, UML, common patterns). Working Conditions and Environment
Overtime as required by work. Up to 20% travel, domestic and international; ability to travel by air domestically and internationally (primarily Austria). Professional office etiquette required at all times. Physical requirements: sitting for long periods, standing, walking, climbing a ladder, speaking, visual acuity, finger dexterity, listening, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds. What You Will Get
