Overview

Abdominal Imaging Radiologist - Clinical Assistant/Associate/Full Professor. The Department of Radiology at the University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville seeks a full-time fellowship-trained Abdominal Imaging Radiologist. This is a non-tenure accruing position at the rank of Assistant, Associate Professor. Candidates must be Board Certified / Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology. The successful candidate will be fellowship trained in Abdominal Imaging and experienced in all aspects of Abdominal Imaging. Responsibilities

Provide high quality service in a friendly academic setting. Serve as a mentor to train residents (the program currently has 7 residents per year). Engage with a research team for scholarly activity as desired by the faculty member. Collaborate with colleagues in surgery, oncology, radiation oncology, and pathology via daily interactions and multidisciplinary meetings. Department and Environment

Our Abdominal Imaging program covers MRI, CT, and US. We have a collegial group of fellowship-trained radiologists who cover for each other, emphasize a high morale environment, and foster work-life balance. We serve the premier level-1 trauma center in Northeast Florida. There is a high volume of specialized abdominal oncology work with the UF Proton Institute. MRI equipment is mostly Siemens. There are numerous academic and research opportunities available. Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

MD/DO in Diagnostic Radiology/Abdominal Imaging. Preferred:

Must be BC/BE in Diagnostic Radiology. Fellowship trained in Abdominal Imaging and experienced in all aspects of Abdominal Imaging. Team player capable of joining a collaborative group. Application and Instructions
