Base pay range
$90,000.00/yr - $105,000.00/yr An Investment Management firm in New York City is seeking an experienced professional to join their team as an ESG Analyst. This role will follow a hybrid schedule. Responsibilities: Conduct ESG analysis on current and prospective private credit investments Support ESG due diligence by identifying material risks and opportunities Coordinate the collection and evaluation of ESG data from portfolio companies, including KPIs and sustainability metrics Prepare regular ESG performance reports and updates for key stakeholders Assist in the development and implementation of ESG policies and frameworks tailored to private credit Monitor ESG trends, regulatory developments, and industry best practices Benchmark ESG practices against industry standards Collaborate with investment teams and portfolio companies to align on ESG priorities and initiatives Respond to ESG-related client requests, questionnaires, and presentations Contribute to annual sustainability reports and other firm-wide ESG communications Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, environmental science, or related field; or completion of a top-tier investment banking training program 1–2 years of experience as an analyst in financial services or ESG consulting; ESG research experience or coursework is a plus Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management Excellent written and verbal communication; fluent in business English Capable of independent research and preparing presentation materials Collaborative team player with a high energy level Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Additional language skills are a plus, but not required Reference # 60731 Seniority level
