Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Associate to join the Strategic Financing Solutions team at JPMorgan Chase & Co. The SFS team partners across the Global Banking & Markets franchises on unconventional financing solutions for strategic situations, including private and emerging financial innovations. The team leads the origination, structuring and development of corporate financing transactions across product areas, in situations where traditional markets are not the best fit. The team is client-centric, serving as complementary professionals to Trading, Banking Coverage & Capital Markets teams. Responsibilities

Develop an understanding of and analyze transaction structures across a wide range of asset classes, including Digital Infrastructure ABS, Preferred Equity Transactions, Bespoke Loans, Whole Business Securitizations and others. Analyze and understand corporate financing needs and assets to identify revenue opportunities. Prepare materials for client calls and meetings, including presentations on new products and ongoing market updates. Analysts/Associates are expected to be involved in client calls and meetings. Facilitate client business by responding to inquiries and pitching new ideas. Manage the execution process by coordinating among sales, trading, Banking, Risk, legal and other involved parties (compliance, business management, operations, etc.). Work with rating agencies, lawyers, internal control functions and all deal parties to execute transactions. Develop new products and platforms to deepen the bank’s product offerings in the credit and loan financing space. Track industry and market developments regarding product offerings. Qualifications

Minimum two years in a markets related transactional role, prior work experience in an investment banking front office role, or related role. Strong quantitative skills and intellectual curiosity. Quick learner and desire to learn about products across asset classes and industries. Team player with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and under tight deadlines. Strong understanding of corporate finance; understands transaction cycle and the steps in the process and is execution oriented. Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact with senior professionals, clients, and key stakeholders in other lines of business. Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently; enthusiasm, creativity, and excellent interpersonal skills; personal integrity, initiative, and leadership qualities; high focus on work quality and attention to detail. Licenses: Series 79 and 63 preferred; required within 90 days. About Us
