Location: Greater Branchburg, NJ area
Type: Direct Hire
Contractor Work Model: Onsite (WFH Fridays after training)
Hours: 8 AM- 4 PM M-F
Responsibilities: Responsible for providing commercial and technical support, by developing and testing applications.
Manages, designs and executes bench top experiments to support R&D and customer initiatives.
Formulations focus will be ondelivering actives in vitamins and supplements for nutraceutical tablets, soft gels, 2-piece capsules and gummies.
Exercises a wide degree of technical sophistication in accomplishing assigned objectives and successful delivery of actives in applicable products.
Understands customers’ needs and provide technical expertise to support the sales team. Manage internal communication with regulatory and other departments to support customer needs.
Develop company proficiency by working in partnership with marketing, research and development, operations, regulatory and management. Maintain awareness of the marketplace, market products and trends to feed into application development
Support Marketing in developing and executing strategy for trade shows and associated Go-To-Market materials and applications prototypes. Facilitate external pilot production of applications.
Document application work using standard forms and procedures and share with the Business Unit Head and Global Application Team
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree, with concentration in Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Nutritional or related science
3-5 years of formulation experience with delivering actives in tablets, soft gels, 2-piece capsules and gummies
Solid regulatory understanding of supplemental nutrition & functional food products
Previous laboratory bench top and pilot plant experience in a research lab/product development environment.
Deep knowledge of the health industry and the technical details of the applications commonly used (softgels, tablets, gummies).
Comfortable with formal presentation development and delivery
Global team player with solid interpersonal communication skills
Project management, strong organizational, attention to detail and administrative skills
Ability to work independently, problem-solve, work effectively in teams, and balance multiple priorities.
