Overview
Columbia University's Programs in Occupational Therapy invite applicants for a full-time, 12-month faculty appointment. This position encompasses teaching and research in both the entry-level MS occupational therapy program and in the post-professional doctoral programs. Close collaboration with other faculty within the department and with faculty in related departments is expected. Applicants are expected to have or to develop a research agenda.
Responsibilities
Teach in the entry-level Master of Science occupational therapy program and in post-professional doctoral programs.
Engage in research and develop and sustain a research agenda.
Collaborate with faculty within the department and with related departments.
Minimum qualifications
Earned research doctorate (PhD, EdD, ScD).
NBCOT board certification.
Licensed to practice or eligible for license to practice in the State of New York.
Individuals with a Post-Professional Doctor of Occupational Therapy will also be considered.
Clinical experience, and experience serving as a course director, is expected.
Preferred qualifications
Doctoral degree specializing in the movement sciences, motor learning, and/or motor control.
Proven record of scholarship.
Established research agenda in adult neurorehabilitation.
