Overview
Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO). We are seeking an experienced Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) to join our team for HDB projects, including HIP and New Build works. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards, and in fostering a safe work culture across our project sites. Responsibilities
Implement and monitor Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) and Environmental Management Systems at project sites. Conduct regular site inspections and follow up on corrective actions to ensure compliance. Work closely with site operations staff and Project Managers on all WSH matters. Prepare accident reports, lead investigations, and conduct toolbox meetings. Ensure risk assessments and safe work procedures are properly executed, reviewed, and enforced. Conduct job hazard analysis to establish safe practices and engineering controls. Assist the QEHS Manager in liaising and coordinating with stakeholders, authorities, agencies, and consultants appointed by the Developer/Client. Facilitate and conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with ISO9001, ISO14001, and OHSAS45001 standards. Ensure full compliance with statutory safety and environmental regulations, including timely submission of required documents. Requirements
Degree or Diploma in Engineering or Workplace Safety & Health disciplines. Registered
WSHO, ECO and ECMO . Good knowledge of ISO9001, ISO14001, OHSAS45001 and GGBS. Strong communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the construction sector, with at least 3 years in a Safety Officer role. Prior experience in
HDB projects (HIP/New Build)
will be an advantage. Remuneration will be commensurate with experience and job requirements. How to Apply
