September 1, 2025 We are currently seeking a certified
School Psychologist
to join a supportive middle school team for the 2025/2026 academic year. This is a full-time,
onsite-only
position serving students in
grades 5-8 , with a caseload of approximately
20 students . The position ideally requires
35 hours/week
(Monday–Friday, 8:15 AM – 3:00 PM), with some flexibility available. The School Psychologist will provide comprehensive support through counseling, evaluations, and collaboration with educational teams to promote academic and emotional success.
Responsibilities
Conduct psychological evaluations as part of the special education eligibility process
Provide individual and group counseling to students
Assist with crisis response and intervention planning
Participate in MTSS planning and implementation
Collaborate with families, teachers, and school staff to develop and implement IEPs
Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
Qualifications
Valid Connecticut 070 School Psychologist certification (required)
Demonstrated expertise in psychological assessment, data analysis, and intervention planning
Ability to manage a robust evaluation schedule while supporting students through counseling and behavioral interventions
Comfortable working onsite
District-provided technology and necessary materials will be available

$63.93
