The Forensic and Valuation Services practice helps clients with valuation, risk management, transfer pricing, economic analysis, and model validation. We are seeking a Senior Associate in the Forensic and Valuation Services Group within the Corporate Value Consulting Team. The Senior Associate can be based out of any US office location. The Senior Associate will work on a variety of assignments, including performing equity valuations or complex security valuations for financial reporting, tax compliance, transaction advisory, and other purposes. Engagements are performed for mostly medium-sized businesses to large multinational corporations. The Senior Associate should demonstrate the ability to provide excellent client service and assist in the growth of team members in developing technical skills and professional competency. Responsibilities

Overseeing valuation analyses for tax, financial reporting, and advisory purposes (enterprise values, stock options, warrants, convertible debt, equity allocations across complex capital structures, and other complex securities/derivatives) primarily in Excel Implementing and improving processes in performing valuations and writing and preparing client deliverables (reports, letters, etc.) Assisting in review of third-party appraisals for audit support purposes Assisting in the development, maintenance, and application of models using Excel and VBA for Monte Carlo, lattices, or other complex methods as requested Reviewing and gaining an understanding of the tax and financial reporting guidance governing the analysis Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Accounting, or similar quantitative discipline 2+ years of performing valuations for financial reporting purposes (ASC 805, ASC 305, ASC 820, ASC 718) is required In-depth understanding of valuation methods such as discounted cash flow, market multiple, market transaction, and option pricing Experience in valuation of complex financial instruments is strongly preferred Valuation related certification including ASA, CVA, ABV, CEIV, or CFA Advanced knowledge of Excel and Capital IQ; ability to program in VBA and/or other statistical packages is a plus Capacity to work independently on projects Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position will vary by location. In addition to base compensation, Withum offers a competitive benefits package and bonus program (for eligible roles) based on individual and firm performance. Final offer amounts are based on factors such as role, hiring location, and the individual’s skills, experience, and qualifications. California/Washington State ranges are from $70,000 - $100,000; Washington, D.C. ranges are from $70,000 - $100,000; NYC ranges are from $70,000 - $100,000; Illinois ranges are from $70,000 - $100,000; Maryland ranges are from $70,000 - $100,000; Massachusetts ranges are from $70,000 - $100,000; New Jersey ranges are from $70,000 - $100,000; Rhode Island ranges are from $70,000 - $100,000; Washington State ranges are from $70,000 - $100,000.
