Investment Banking Restructuring Advisory Associate 1/2 at Prospect Rock Partners. The Associate will provide strategic advisory and financial solutions to clients facing complex restructuring and distressed situations, including distressed debt, bankruptcies, reorganizations, and other restructuring transactions. This role offers exposure to high-profile engagements and the opportunity to work with a dynamic team. Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analyses, including financial modeling, valuation, and benchmarking, to assess the financial health and viability of distressed companies. Due Diligence: Perform thorough due diligence on companies and operations; prepare reports for senior management and clients outlining findings and recommendations. Restructuring Strategies: Develop innovative restructuring strategies in collaboration with senior team members, considering operational and financial factors. Transaction Execution: Work with cross-functional teams to execute restructuring transactions (debt negotiations, refinancing, asset sales, M&A). Documentation and Presentation: Prepare pitch books, confidential information memoranda, financial models, and other client-facing materials with clarity and accuracy. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor throughout the restructuring process. Market Research: Stay informed on market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes related to restructuring; share insights with the team and clients. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with senior bankers, analysts, legal advisors, and others to coordinate projects and foster a collaborative environment. Mentorship: Provide guidance to junior team members and support their professional development in restructuring and investment banking. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. Experience in investment banking (leveraged finance or M&A), restructuring, or related fields, with exposure to distressed situations. Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with financial analysis tools is a plus. Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and valuation methodologies. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely. Strong project management and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team; collaborative and proactive mindset. High ethical standards and a commitment to confidentiality and client trust. Location: New York, NY. Compensation: $120,000.00-$135,000.00. Employment type: Full-time.
