Your Opportunity + Impact: The Project Manager must be a skilled and experienced individual within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of multidisciplinary projects. This role requires a deep understanding of the PMI Competency Framework and its application to AEC projects, ensuring alignment with best practices and the strategic objectives of the organization. Manages in excess of $1M. Key Responsibilities

Project Integration Management: Develop and manage project plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client expectations. Coordinate across multiple disciplines and stakeholders to meet objectives. Lead the integration of project processes, including initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing. Contract Management: Oversee program-level contract administration and performance. Develop and oversee contract strategies aligned with program objectives. Monitor performance and compliance across projects, escalating issues as necessary. Facilitate communication between senior leadership, clients, and project teams. Approve and manage contract modifications and high-risk negotiations. Scope Management: Define and manage project scope, including developing a clear project charter and work breakdown structure (WBS). Oversee scope changes through a formal change management process, ensuring that all impacts are assessed and documented. Schedule Management: Develop detailed project schedules, identifying key milestones and deadlines. Monitor timelines and manage deviations to ensure timely deliverables. Utilize scheduling tools to optimize resource allocation and project efficiency. Cost & Financial Management: Direct project-specific cost estimation, financial forecasting, and earned value management (EVM). Implement cost control measures and value optimization strategies. Monitor and report on financial performance; address risks or variances in cost, schedule, and value outcomes. Quality Management: Establish and manage quality standards for project deliverables. Conduct quality audits and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance with project quality plans. Promote continuous improvement and Lean Six Sigma practices. Resource Management: Develop and lead project teams, ensuring resources align to project goals. Partner with the Technical Manager and others as needed. Communication Management: Develop and execute comprehensive communication plans. Facilitate effective communication across project teams, clients, and subcontractors. Prepare and present project status reports, including progress, risks, and issues. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and manage project risks; develop mitigation strategies. Maintain a risk register and perform regular risk reviews. Procurement Management: Participate in procurement, including selection of subcontractors and suppliers. Manage contracts and negotiate to resolve procurement-related issues; maintain vendor relationships. Stakeholder Management: Identify and manage stakeholders, aligning expectations with project objectives. Build strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business. Address concerns and conflicts promptly. Leadership and Professionalism: Lead by example with ethical behavior and integrity. Mentor associate project managers and team members. Stay current with industry trends, PMI standards, and AEC best practices. Education and Experience

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. A Master’s degree is preferred. Experience: Minimum of four to ten (4–10) years of job-related experience in the AEC industry, with a track record of managing complex, multidisciplinary projects. Licensure/Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required. Preferred Qualifications

Strong understanding of PMI’s Competency Framework and its application to AEC projects. Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent). Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Strong leadership and team-building skills. Willingness to travel as needed to project sites. Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodologies is a plus. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines. EEO Statement
