Perform routine and advanced wet lab protocols in cellular and molecular biology. Maintain and culture human stem cells and their derivatives (maintenance, passaging, freezing/thawing). Support cell culture operations such as media preparation, aliquoting reagents, and general lab upkeep. Perform biochemical assays, including Western blotting, immunofluorescence, and flow cytometry. Conduct molecular biology techniques, such as RNA extraction, cDNA synthesis, and RT-qPCR. Support or conduct CRISPR gene editing experiments and lentivirus production/transduction. Maintain detailed documentation of experimental protocols, procedures, and results. Engage in regular team meetings and ensure open communication with team members and supervisors. Potential for authorship in scientific publications depending on contributions. Requirements
Bachelor's or master's degree in Biological Sciences, Molecular Biology, Neuroscience, Biochemistry, or a related field. BS with 2-3 years of tissue culture experience or MS with at least 1 year of relevant lab experience. Prior training in standard wet lab practices and basic laboratory instrumentation. Advanced cell culture techniques (maintenance, passaging, cryopreservation). Proficiency in biochemical assays (Western blot, immunofluorescence, flow cytometry). Proficiency in molecular biology techniques (RNA extraction, cDNA synthesis, RT-qPCR). Strong documentation, organizational, and communication skills. Experience with human stem cell reprogramming, maintenance, and differentiation. Hands-on experience with CRISPR gene editing technologies. Lentiviral production and transduction experience. Additional: wet lab proficiency with relevant equipment.
