FULL TIME POSITIONS ARE AVAILABLE
Come join our team! The Goddard School of Stamford is a brand new preschool that opened in early 2023 and is seeking fun, experienced, and qualified teachers to assist in our infant classrooms. We are specifically looking for teachers who are dependable, highly motivated, and meet Connecticut's Early Childhood Teacher requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES Establish and maintain a safe, healthy, nurturing, and multi-cultural learning environment. Design and implement age-appropriate play-based lesson plans using the Creative Curriculum. Plan and implement activities to foster children’s self-esteem and social skills. Prepare a daily activity report for each child. Attend faculty meetings, in-service days, conferences, and professional growth opportunities. Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
QUALIFICATIONS A High School Diploma is required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree or higher in ECE, Elementary Education, or Child Development preferred. A minimum of 2-3 years of prior experience in a licensed childcare, daycare, or preschool is required.

SCHEDULE The Goddard School of Stamford is open year-round. Monday-Friday 7 am to 6 pm (9 hour shift with 1 hour break).
Job Type: Full-time
SCHEDULE 8 hour shift. Monday to Friday.
Ability to commute/relocate Stamford, CT: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required).
Experience Infant Teaching: 2 years (Required).
