Insurance Development Associate I – Frost Insurance Agency

Location: Austin, TX Join Frost Insurance Agency as an Insurance Development Associate I. This role focuses on building and fostering long-term relationships with clients through interactive training, mentorship, and hands-on learning with customer accounts, to develop product knowledge, sales experience, and an understanding of Frost’s relationship management process and culture. What You’ll Do

Build a thorough knowledge of insurance coverage, industry research, and insurance products available through Frost Insurance Agency by participating in practical training Assist producers and account managers in sales, marketing, and maintenance for new and existing insurance accounts Prepare formal insurance proposals including details of coverage, limits, deductibles and other pertinent information; assist in presenting proposals to prospective clients Assist in appointments with clients and prospective clients to present insurance proposals and renewals by explaining plan details and establishing long-term business relationships Provide excellent customer service to clients by surveying prospects to determine insurance needs, inspecting current policies, risk management plans, property, products and records, and directing client service calls to the appropriate service person Participate in plan renewals by reviewing expiration listings to determine the appropriate action and collecting information to prepare renewal submissions Build knowledge of insurance coverage and analysis; collaborate with team to complete company submissions and select potential markets Work toward obtaining insurance licenses Demonstrate integrity, caring, and excellence to achieve positive outcomes What You’ll Need

Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management and Insurance, Finance, or a related field; or 4+ years of experience in a sales environment with a demonstrated ability to pursue and close deals Texas General Lines Agent License in Property and Casualty (P&C) or Life, Accident, Health, and HMO, or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft applications Our Benefits
