Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP Oversee general ledger activity, reconciliations, and journal entries Coordinate with external auditors and support annual audit requirements Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements Develop, coach, and supervise accounting staff Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CPA track) 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory/managerial role Background with a public/private accounting mix (public accounting foundation plus private industry experience) Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Seniority level
