Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Servicer Balancing Analyst to join our client and support critical mortgage servicing operations. This onsite, contract-to-hire position based in Highlands Ranch, CO, focuses on reconciling complex financial data from loan servicers, ensuring accuracy in monthly reporting, and maintaining strong relationships with servicing partners.
Compensation:
$26.05/hour
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, normal business hours
Key Responsibilities of the Servicer Balancing Analyst:
Reconcile financial reports submitted by primary servicers in alignment with servicing agreements and internal policies. Act as the primary point of contact for assigned servicers regarding reporting and settlement inquiries. Research and resolve discrepancies in servicer reporting, including cash settlement issues and servicing errors. Ensure timely and accurate reporting and remittance by assigned servicers. Monitor and clear servicer discrepancies, prepare wire transfers, and support monthly remittance processing. Manage a loan portfolio of approximately 30,000 loans totaling over $200 million in monthly remittances upon completion of training. Collaborate closely with team members and provide support to other departments as needed. Participate in additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills for the Servicer Balancing Analyst:
Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Access and 10-key preferred. Experience with SBO2000 Master Servicing is a plus. Ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures related to financial reconciliation. Strong research skills, attention to detail, and effective oral communication. Open to feedback, collaborative, and proactive in solving problems.
