Our growth has created the need to add an experienced senior leader to the Bank's loan operations and servicing function. The team consists of a staff of five and will report to the current SVP of Loan Operations, with indirect reporting to the Bank's Chief Lending Officer. Applicants for this role should consider themselves to be quick learners with a high degree of self-motivation and initiative along with the ability to embrace technology. This position offers significant visibility within the organization and will interface with all other functions within the Bank. Logistics

The standard job hours are 8:30am – 5:30pm Monday – Friday. At times, additional time may be required to meet deadlines. The job is located at the Bank's headquarters at 100 Jericho Turnpike, Suite 100, Jericho, NY 11753. Responsibilities

Primary Function: The VP / MD / SMD or Loan operations will manage a team of associates responsible for the servicing of Commercial, Real Estate, and Consumer loans, throughout the loan life cycle. The individual will provide ongoing training and development to their staff and act as the subject matter expert on all loan booking, funding, and servicing requests.This individual will hold primary responsibility for the oversight of daily operations, including the research and correction of errors and will serve as the elevated point of contact within the lending operations team to resolve client related issues. While managing the workflow, this individual will review current policies and procedures and recommend and implement enhancements to same. Additionally, this individual is the primary point of contact for internal and external audits guiding and managing the execution and fulfillment of all audit requests. Principal Responsibilities: Support the loan servicing team in the daily operations and servicing of all Commercial, Real Estate, and Consumer loans from loan funding and boarding through payoff providing a high level of customer satisfaction. Review all Commercial loan documents upon completion by the Closing Department, and prior to delivery to Borrower, ensuring correctness of documents and terms consistent with loan approval. Board new loans, process extensions, renewals, and changes to existing loans and / or review this process and output as performed by team. Ensure department staffing levels are adequate and abilities meet the required levels to provide continuous prompt, accurate and courteous service. Recommend staffing additions, promotions, salary adjustments and corrective actions to SVP or Loan Operations and /or Chief Lending Officer. Evaluate department workflow to ensure optimum efficiency and appropriate separation of duties. Implement procedural changes and update or establish new department procedures as necessary. Compile documentation and/or run reports for internal and external audits as requested. Provide a formal response to findings and recommendations and implement any necessary procedural changes. Maintain or modify existing departmental policies and procedures and / or create new policies and procedures when necessary. Perform monthly loan related General Ledger reconciliations. Ensure outstanding items are researched and cleared in a timely fashion. Represent the department at Bank committee meetings such as Compliance, IT Steering, Complaint and Bank Continuity Plan. Participate and represent the department in bank wide initiatives and projects. Required Experience and Qualifications

Minimum 7 years team management experience Minimum 10 years loan servicing experience. Advanced knowledge of Client Signature or similar Client platform. Strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking ability with excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy. Detail oriented with strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritize assignments and issues of significance. Proficient in Microsoft Office products with the ability to adapt to, and learn, new products and technologies quickly. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to interact within all levels of the organization.
